A pleasurably jacked-up piece of action moviemaking.. Blade II is almost excessively violent -- OK, it is excessively violent -- but that's exactly what Snipes and Blade fans want. Believe me, they get it.. Del Toro is a stylish horrormeister, and he has created an evocative, foreboding atmosphere. But only a fan of this kind of mayhem could find a way into the story.
